project
website for a planned underwater hotel in dubai. project that was never finished nor went it live, but to this day is my most favourite one as it would have been animated with sound.

the website operated from 2006 to 2012. 2013 it was relaunched. a live time of a normal website these days is about 2 years. Cosmos Direct was live in the same layout and functionality from august 2006 - 2012 which was an achievement!
project
this website was not be the hottest and coolest you‘ve ever seen, but that was never the end target. selling insurances over the web is an art form in itself and follows different set of AIDA rules.
in 2006 this project was ahead of its time and to receive the recognition in 2009 made me very, very happy.

what did i do?
-screen design & concept within the pitch team
-taking over the creative direction of the project after winning the pitch 
-co-ordinating a team of four designers to keep the given deadline
- preparation of two usability tests with outside provider
-testing the project in a secure environment and re-launch
-creating comprehensive style guides and templates to client for maintaining website

project
small contained project within a bigger project. revolutionary at the time in the landscape of insurance and pension sales online in 2005, we created an interactive pension calculator with visual display the 'pixel world'.

Deutscher Multimedia Award 2006: Nomination of the Altersvorsorge Portal in the Class „Interative Services“, Annual Multimedia 2006: Display of the Altersvorsorge Portal on page 220/221. 


what did i do?
design, layout and illustration (pixelation) of all 133 icons to fit in flexible grid system depending on form input of available pension options to give coherent visual display of the users current situation in a snapshot. preparing artwork for backend. testing with IT.

working closely with IT and rest of design team as full portal functioned as a holistic and consistent piece. I loved our team - we just clicked!
